A woman with dark hair, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, sitting barefoot on the floor next to a white couch with colorful building blocks and books on it. The text in the image reads 'I'm Vanessa!' in large, blue letters.

I’m Vanessa, a therapist, mom of two, recovering perfectionist, and someone who spent years smiling on the outside while silently falling apart on the inside.

I built my practice on one core belief: healing doesn’t happen when you’re being evaluated. It happens when you feel safe enough to stop performing and just be. That’s the space I hold, zero pressure, zero pretenses, no rushed “fixes.”

There are no formal assessments here, no clipboard energy. Just curiosity, warmth, and the occasional F-bomb (because sometimes there’s no clinical term for what life throws at us).

Text-based graphic with a quote: "Not your typical therapist and thank Goodness for that."

I’m certified in EMDR and trained in somatic and nervous system-based therapies, but my real superpower is making people feel seen and safe enough to unravel the layers. We figure things out together, at your pace, in your words.

You’ll likely catch me in leggings, a hoodie, and sipping a half-drank coffee I forgot about twice.

I'm not here to impress, I’m here to be real, so you can be too.

If you’re looking for a therapist who gets what it means to feel everything, carry too much, and still want more for yourself, welcome. You’re in the right place.
